Nancy gives back to the community as an energetic volunteer, bringing her professional expertise to bear as a member of many nonprofit governing boards and committees.

  • Pottstown, PA Health and Wellness Foundation: Nancy joined the Foundation Board August 2007 where she chairs the Communications Committee.
  • United Way of Southeastern PA’s Women’s Initiative Steering Committee: Nancy has participated as a member of this influential network of women leaders dedicated to sustaining positive change in the region through philanthropy and volunteerism. 
  • Lycoming College Alumni Association: Nancy is Class Agent for the graduating class of 1975, and assists with the college's annual appeal.
  • Family Services of Montgomery County, PA: Nancy had been a member of the governing Board of Directors for nearly 15 years, including five years as Board President. She chaired and had served on many of this organization’s committees.
  • The Phoenixville Area YMCA: As a member of the Board of Directors, Nancy served on many committees and played a key role in long range planning.
  • Methacton School District: Nancy has participated in their Strategic Planning Process and twice chaired the District’s Community Action Network fundraiser.

Nancy has also been recognized with awards for her social advocacy and civic dedication.

  • Family Services of Montgomery County: In 1998, Nancy was honored with the “Friend of the Family” award for her “steady leadership, extraordinary dedication and tireless efforts.”
  • The Phoenixville Area YMCA: Nancy received the “Volunteer of the Year” Award in 1998.
